About

Brian is an emerging artist based in Ontario, specializing in graphite pencil and oil painting. A self-taught creator, his passion for art began in childhood, drawing alongside his grandmother. Always with a pencil and paper in hand, he would often sketch for his teachers at school in hopes of earning better grades. However, as he grew older, other interests led him to pause his artistic journey.

In recent years, Brian has rediscovered his love for art. Inspired by wildlife artists, he began to teach himself how to draw once again, starting with a few sketches. His dedication culminated in a large, realistic graphite drawing of an African elephant—an accomplishment that sparked his desire to pursue art on a more professional level.

Primarily focused on wildlife realism, Brian’s work has recently evolved into surrealism, blending animals with fantastical elements. This shift has allowed him to explore both internal and external realities, offering a deeper freedom of expression.

Now residing in a small town north of Toronto, Brian works from his home studio. He has recently completed a series of pieces for a private collection and taken on several commissioned projects. His work has been featured in Murze Magazine, and he has participated in various local art shows. As he continues to refine his craft, Brian’s primary focus is on further developing his surrealist pieces and expanding his portfolio.
